Harvey Penick began his golfing career as a caddie in 1913 at the Austin Texas Country Club. He later became an instructor and has instructed many well known pros such as Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, Mickey Wright, Betsy Rawls and Kathy Whitworth.
